ACHIEVEMENTS UNDER POLICY AND LEGAL DIVISION

As a part of strengthening of the Division, the department will recruit experts for the implementation and formulation of the various laws, act and rules, regulations, policies guidelines etc. In addition to that, then the division can take timely actions within the stipulated period on the basis of the directions of the Hon’ble Court, Ministry etc. Presently, the bye laws for better administration.

The division will also look after the various activities related with Special Task Force (STP), State Level Monitoring Committee, State Level Advisory Board (SLAB) etc, Coastal Zone Management Plans, Climate Change Action Plans, Matters related with Pollution Control, Integrated Solid Waste Management, Environment Impact Assessment, Environment Clearances etc.
